Foundation Year Courses
In partnership with Staffordshire University, the Sixth Form College delivers a number of Foundation Years for Degree courses. Through this partnership, we offer a unique combination of quality shared resources, staff and facilities.
Drawing on the combined expertise of the Sixth Form College and Staffordshire University, our courses provide a path into higher education, whilst developing sought after employability skills and industry experience. They are a gateway for those who do not meet traditional university entry criteria, and an opportunity to re-skill and retrain.

Creative Media Production
BA (Hons)
This course combines critical analysis of literary texts and the practical tools necessary to produce your own pieces of creative writing. You will learn how to write for different creative contexts; you will develop the tools to write scripts for television, film and the more traditional short story and novel. You will leave the course ready to question existing texts and with the tools to create and develop your own writing to a professional standard.

Biomedical Sciences

A biomedical scientist is a scientist trained in biology, particularly in the context of medicine. These scientists work to gain knowledge on the main principles of how the human body works and to find new ways to cure or treat disease by developing advanced diagnostic tools or new therapeutic strategies
